I’ve been circling sidereal Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, for a few years now, picking up pieces here and there long before I would have called it “studying.” It’s the kind of subject you can explore for years and still feel like you’re only standing at the edge of it. An art and a science at the same time, Jyotish is layered, precise, and built on centuries of accumulated knowledge.
Not long ago, I decided to stop dabbling and start learning it properly. These days, that means studying from every source I can: books, YouTube, and most importantly, a teacher guiding me through the fundamentals.
As a software engineer, I naturally started building tools to support the way I learn. Most astrology software helps you generate a chart. I wanted a tool that helped me learn how to read one.
Jyotish means the science of light, and that is the spirit behind Vedic Astrology Studio.
I came to Jyotish wanting to understand myself. What I found is a body of knowledge so vast that the studying never really ends.
This Studio is my study desk made public.
A birth chart on one side, flashcards and notes on the other, so every session builds the foundation instead of scattering it.
I built this studio first for myself.
If you’re walking the same path, I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.
